Innovation, hard work, and the combination of access to the oldest bee sanctuary in the world and the purest strain of Ligurian bees have proven to be a winning combination for us at The Kangaroo Island Ligurian Bee Co.
As a creator of some of the rarest, premium honey varieties in the world we are thrilled to advise we were recognised with both the Education and Training Award and the coveted Business Excellence Award in the 2023 South Australian Premier's Food and Beverage Industry Awards, presented to us at a gala event at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday.
The South Australian Premier's Food and Beverage Industry Awards aim to recognise excellence, leadership and innovation across the South Australian food and beverage industry. Award winners included some of the state's most established and emerging leaders in food and beverage in South Australia.
To be recognised as finalists in four categories and selected as the winner for two awards, is a great accomplishment for our Kingscote-based business and reward for a huge amount of work.
We want to sincerely thank all of you - our team, customers, suppliers, and supporters - for your part in these awards.
