Although Banksia is not a rare botanical, it is a rare that you find it as a single species expression. That is because the big commercial honey companies, despite the excellent flavour and aroma, are not fans as it is quick to crystallise – not great when you are making mass-produced ‘runny honey’ – so it normally gets heated and blended in.
Our Silver Banksia Honey was collected in late Autumn this year from hives located in the bush on the north-west of Kangaroo Island. This is the first time we have collected and separated out this honey – and we are loving it! Flowering in late summer and autumn the nectar of the silver banksia is a source of food for bees and many of the native animals on Kangaroo Island, including the critically endangered Kangaroo Island Dunnart.
A rich, vibrant honey with malted cookie dough flavour and a toasted caramel, milk chocolate finish. Crystallises quickly to a beautiful, fine, chewy consistency perfect for spreading on waffles, then topped with marscapone.
Certified Organic. There’s only 385 jars in total.

Orders are usually packed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days, but may take longer during busy periods. Once the order is shipped you will receive notification and a tracking number.
Our honey is raw and is not fine filtered, which means it undergoes minimal processing during the extraction and packing, so that it retains the health benefits from the naturally occurring enzymes.
For this reason we are unable to send honey to Western Australia or the Northern Territory.
We can ship honey to Tasmania, but cannot ship any candles or wax products.
Depending on the country, international shipments may be subject to import taxes, duties and custom fees which are levied by the country of destination and are the responsibility of the recipient.
In some instances honey or honey products may not be cleared by Customs. Please be aware that we cannot offer refunds or guarantee receipt of products outside of Australia, and recommend checking the requirements of the destination country before placing an order.
Due to customs restrictions, we are unable to ship honey to countries within the EU.
