Kangaroo Island is the oldest bee sanctuary in the world and is home to the purest strain of Ligurian Bee. Cup Gum, endemic to South Australia, grows on the ancient soils of Kangaroo Island. Flowering between late autumn and winter, Cup Gums produce the nectar rich flowers the bees need for honey every 3-4 years.
Tasting Notes – Caramel, Pure and Simple
Sometimes the simplest flavours are the most memorable. This honey is rich, buttery caramel with just enough butterscotch to keep things interesting.
From the first aroma, it is unmistakably caramel. Soft nougat and white chocolate quietly wander in, making it even more delicious without ever stealing the spotlight.
The first spoonful is like warm caramel sauce—thick, silky and smooth. It coats the palate before gentle butterscotch notes begin to appear. Everything feels soft, rounded and completely at ease with itself. No twists or surprises, just really good caramel doing what it does best.
The flavour lingers beautifully. Just when you think it has packed up and gone home, a delicate lift of vanilla sugar appears, almost as if to say, “One more thing…” It’s subtle, playful and leaves you wondering whether another spoonful is really such a bad idea.
Pairing – A Little Everyday Indulgence
Drizzle it over vanilla bean ice cream, warm pancakes or buttery crumpets, stir a spoonful through your morning coffee, or pair it with a creamy triple-cream brie. Or skip the ceremony and eat it straight from the spoon. We certainly won’t judge.

Orders are usually packed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days, but may take longer during busy periods. Once the order is shipped you will receive notification and a tracking number.
Our honey is raw and is not fine filtered, which means it undergoes minimal processing during the extraction and packing, so that it retains the health benefits from the naturally occurring enzymes.
For this reason we are unable to send honey to Western Australia or the Northern Territory.
We can ship honey to Tasmania, but cannot ship any candles or wax products.
Depending on the country, international shipments may be subject to import taxes, duties and custom fees which are levied by the country of destination and are the responsibility of the recipient.
In some instances honey or honey products may not be cleared by Customs. Please be aware that we cannot offer refunds or guarantee receipt of products outside of Australia, and recommend checking the requirements of the destination country before placing an order.
Due to customs restrictions, we are unable to ship honey to countries within the EU, for other destinations there is a limit of 2kg per order.
